THE TERRACOTTA ARMY (C.

246-208 BCE)
- In 1974 an archaeological excavation resulted in one of the most
spectacular finds of funerary art in the history of china.
- In the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi, who died in 210 BCE, in Shaanxi
province, China.
- Composed of 8000 soldiers, 130 chariots, and 670 horses
- The height of the warriors varies between 184-197 cm.

Leshan Giant Buddha


- Built between 713 and 803
- It is the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the wold (233 ft)
God of War Statue
- Its 190 ft tall and weighs over 1320 tonnes, and it contains over 4000 strips
of bronze.
- Design by Han Meilin
- The monument is so big that there’s even and 8000 sqm museum inside it.
