The mausoleum was constructed over 38 years.


The mausoleum is located in the From 246 BC to 208 BC is a 76 metre tall tomb
lingtong district in xi’an,in the like a truncated pyramid.The layout of the
shaanxi province of china.Work on mausoleum is modeled on the Qin capital
the mausoleum began as soon as Xianyang, divided into inner and outer cities.

INSIDE THE
TOMB?
The inside of Qin Shi Huang Di’s tomb
consists of a massive terracotta army. The
terracotta army is made out of thousands of
terracotta soldiers, clay horses, as well as
wooden chariots. The star of the mausoleum is
the gift shop - conveniently selling overpriced

What are terracotta warriors? Terracotta warriors are
Terracotta statues depicting the armies of Qin shi huang
di.They were created to guard the emperor in the afterlife and
was a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210 Bc-
209 BC.

The mausoleum looks like a flat square


based pyramid.It is 76 metres tall which is
about 140 feet tall the base dimensions were
about 120 feet by 100 feet.
