PNEUMATIC SHEET CUTTING MACHINE

Introduction

In the mechanical field sheet metal cutting process is one of the

most important processes. All the small to big products need
sheet metal work.

In that sheet process now a days we use large size of to sheet

cutting machine .and also the machine occupy large amount of
space in the work shop.

In that project our aim is to make simple and easy operate with
less space machine. Simple in mechanism

Synopsis

In that project we use pneumatic power instead of mechanical

power used older one. The pneumatic power is used to cutting
the sheet for that we pneumatic cylinders .and also we scissor
mechanism to cut the sheet instead of the sheering mechanism in
the older one.

Construction

In the construction side a square shape base is to support the all

machine rectangular frame in vertical direct to support cylinder
and valve. Pneumatic cylinder is fitted with a cutting scissor .the
cutting scissor is fitted in the bottom side. The control valve
placed in the top side of frame .a switch is placed to control the
flow of air
 Working

When ever we press a cutting switch .the electro magnet solenoid

valve is opened. The air from compressor is sent to cylinder and
the cylinder move down ward direction .as well as the scissor
action happened. The sheet in between the two scissor blade to
be cut .
