“School Announcements through Text Messages”

II. Problem and Statement
Not every student has a time to check updates online or even watch TV, and some
students doesn’t even have TV or internet in their home. So their main updates will
come from their classmates, but what if their classmates didn’t give them any text
messages? They would be frustrated on coming to school without prior notice. Another
thing for unexpected announcements.

III. Scope and limitations

This study is limit for those students who don’t have phones.

IV. System Requirement Specification

1. Security/Safety – the system should be secured so it wouldn’t get hack by anyone
who could send any information for a laugh or mock.
2. Limitations – it can only send updates about “No-Class”, “Holiday”, “Upcoming Event
for everybody with details on it” & other per department announcement.
3. Reliability – no cancellation of the said announcement/s as much as possible.

VII. Conclusion
Therefore I conclude that it is a necessary to everyone. Though our school has a lot of social
media accounts, this system will be a needed for those students that don’t surf internet that
much and the students who don’t really pay attention on announcements through social
media.
VIII. Recommendation
1. Keep updated as possible but the updates are for everyone.
2. Can message specific persons for a specific announcement.
