Title of the Movie: Anonymous(Hacker)

I: Summary

The story revolves around a boy named Alex that grew up with his only friend, a
computer. As he grows up he discovers a site known as Dark Web and this is where he buys
black market items like watches, jewelry, etc. As he sells these items he meets a man named Sye
and he helps him sell his items and after that they continued their business and eventually
became best friends. After awhile they meet a girl named Kira and the 3 of them teamed up to
sell their inventory all over Toronto. When they failed to negotiate with a gang they flew to
Hong Kong to start a new life as black market sellers. They continue to profit through these
means but eventually they were caught using picked up credit cards and it caused disruption to
the 3 of them. Eventually Alex & Sye fought to the point where Alex wanted Sye to leave. After
Sye left they meet up with the leader of Dark web and Alex and Kira had an allegiance with the
Dark Web. But Sye returned to their hotel and someone went in the hotel to kill Alex & Kira but
Sye ended up dying because he was the one who was in the hotel. After these events Dark web
wanted to crash the stock market by killing the “leader” of the stock market but it backfired
causing Alex & Kira to get caught and Dark web was also eventually caught. Alex and Kira were
apart and Alex wanted to find Kira and look through Dark Web so he went to a computer shop
but he got caught using a picked up credit card and was arrested and imprisoned for two years.
When he was free, he sees Kira waiting for him outside the prison and then they proceed to
continue on with their lives.

II. Movie’s theme and purpose

Anonymous is a crime film/drama film featuring a guy who made money by hacking
through credit cards and selling items from the black market. The purpose of the story is to tell
that hacking is dangerous if used incorrectly. Getting money using hacking is also a crime as it is
considered stealing and it is shown in the movie that he was eventually caught for using these
illegal means. Even though he had a ton of money, it dissipated in a blink of an eye meaning that
easy money is also easily lost.
III. Reflection

The movie was a success in my opinion because it made the point that hacking may be
easy money but it is also a means to get yourself in trouble or even killed. It is recommendable
because of the lessons that you can get in the movie. I can’t really give good or bad points
because it’s not really intended to be entertaining but it is intended to be a lesson to the masses.
Basically saying that hacking is a quick way to get yourself imprisoned or killed. It’s more of a
warning to people rather than being a “Movie” because as I have said it’s not meant to entertain,
but meant to be a lesson to others.
