EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was taken up as a part of the requirement of Master of Business

Administration (MBA) course as per the directions of Visvesvaraya Technological
University Belgaum. Has to undertake a Departmental Study project to know the
working of various departments in an Organization.

The study is application to The study covers organization and industry profile,
Mission & Vision, achievement, RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE ture
growth and prospectus, McKinney’s 7s frame work with special reference to
organization under study and SWOT analysis and also it covers summary of financial
performance and the learning experience gained during in training.

Today banks have become a part and parcel of our life. Now the bank offer to
even a common man and their activities to untouched and after globalization and
liberalization policy many foreign banks entered in the Indian market with different
services and innovation technologies. Apart from their traditional business oriented
function, they have now come out to fulfill national responsibility. Today’s bank cater
to the need agriculturists, Industrialists,traders,Women, students and to all others
sections of the society
 Lending of funds to traders , business , and industrial enterprise is one of the
important activities to the bank , the major part of the deposit received by the bank is
let out , and a large part of income is earned from interest on such lending which
banks grants on deposits , the rate charged on loans and advances . It is the differences
which constitutes the main sources of bank
