Objectives:
At the end of the discussion, the students must have:
a) define important terms about the role of technology in delivering the curriculum;
b) demonstrated a mine-lesson maximizing the use of technology in delivering the
curriculum;
c) discussed the importance of using technology in delivering the curriculum.

II. Subject Matter: The Role of Technology in Delivering the Curriculum


III. Procedure:
a) Motivation
Video clip about the traditional and modern way of teaching.
Questions:
 What was the focus of the video?
 What’s the difference between the two types of teaching?
 Which of the two is more efficient in students’ learning?
 How did the technology affect the new generation?
b) Activity
“Clean Me! Answer Me!
Mechanics:
 The class will be instructed to pick up the pieces of paper scattered in the
classroom.
 After picking the paper, they will be reminded not to throw the papers they’ve
picked.
 The paper has questions that will be asked to the students who have enlightened
questions.
 Students who are able to answer the questions will received a prize.
IV. Evaluation:
“Lights! Camera! Acting!”
Mechanics:
 The class will be divided into 5 groups.
 Each group will prepare a role play about the topic.
 Each group will be given 10 minutes to prepare and minimum of 3 minutes and
maximum of 4 minutes to perform.
 Each group will be graded based in the criteria below.
Criteria:
Relevance to the Topic - 10pts.
Humor and creativity - 5 pts.
Teamwork - 5pts.
Total 20 pts.
V. Assignment:
Directions: In a short bondpaper, create a teaching strategy of the use of technology.
