Reaction Paper on " Michael Clayton"

The Movie Michael Clayton showed what lawyers can do, lawyers can either
serve justice to those who are in need or give a ticket for one to go away with what he
had committed, by cleaning the evidence which points directly to such person and
which proves that he really had committed the wrongful act.

In finding evidence to defend a cause, one must be very meticulous and considers all
the circumstances that can lead to the truth, but such evidence can also change
everything which will make one realize that what he is fighting for is the wrong cause or
rather not worth fighting for because of its effect to other people, maybe its okay if
one,two or three people are affected but if it affects large population and the future
users of the product then the lawyer must inhibit to such case, just like Arthur who is the
lawyer of uNorth,who turned his back to his client because he found ot that the product
of the company he is defending is dangerous to the health not only of the farmers but
also to other users of the product..

Lawyers must not just fight for their clients cause,but must consider whether what they
are fighting for will give them a sound sleep at night and a clean conscience knowing
that when they will win the case a lot of individuals will be prejudiced.

Lawyers, must stand firm to the principle that money is nothing when they can deliver
justice not just to one person but to many, just like what Michael Clayton did, even when
he is in need of money, he did not ,make a way for the case to be settled or fixed which
he usually do, but instead he investigated more which leads him to find out that Arthur
did not kill himself as what was shown by the investigation of the police but he was
killed because of the case he was handling.What Michael Clayton did to make Karen
Crowder admit what she had done will not only give justice to Arthur but also to those
people like Anna, who was affected by the product of uNorth.
