SELECTION NOTIFICATION

Following candidates are provisionally selected for purely temporary contractual positions, as indicated
against their name, in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat:

Department of Computer Science and Engineering:

1. Ms. Parmar Amisha Dipakbhai - Teaching Assistant

2. Ms. Patel Shraddha Jitendrakumar - Teaching Assistant
3. Ms. Kumari Pritee - Teaching Assistant
4. Dr. Adarsh Patel - Assistant Professor

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering:

1. Dr. Goklani Hemantkumar Sahijram - Assistant Professor

2. Mr. Gopal Agarwal - Teaching Assistant
3. Mr. Rahulkumar Kishorbhai Patel - Teaching Assistant
4. Mr. Kiran Sudhakar Kale - Teaching Assistant

Candidates shall note the following:

1. The selected candidates shall report to the Director, IIIT-Surat on or before 22-08-2019 during
working hours of the Institute.
2. This offer is purely temporary and contractual fulltime positions as mentioned against the names.
3. If not reported on or before the date mentioned above the offer to the concerned candidate stands
cancelled without any further communication. Request for extension of joining time will not be
entertained.
4. All candidates shall be available in the institute during the working hours.
5. The offer is valid only for 5 months from the date of notification and at the end of fifth month offer
becomes null and void.
6. The salary is consolidated as mentioned in the notification and no other facilities will be provided by
the institute.
7. Any additional responsibilities can be assigned at any time for smooth functioning of the Institute.
8. While reporting all candidates shall submit original documents for verification.
9. By this offer the candidates have no claim over the permanent positions whenever the institute
advertises for recruitment in future.
10. Institute has the right to terminate this offer at any time by giving one-month notice.
11. If the candidate desires to discontinue he/she shall inform one month in advance, else has to pay one-
month applicable salary to the institute. Institute has the right to reject/accept the resignation.
12. During the vacation salary will be paid only if the faculty works in the Institute as per the scheduled
working hours.
13. Candidates shall not engage in any trade or business or undertake any employment full time or part
time without the permission of the Institute.
14. The performance of each will be monitored regularly and only upon satisfactory performance,
renewal if needed for further period will be considered.
15. Five casual leave can be availed during the period of appointment. No other leave facilities are
available. Any unauthorized absence will be considered as leave without pay.
16. In case of any dispute arising because of the candidates’ behaviour, decision of the Institute shall be
final and binding to the concerned.
