Characterization
Composites are used not only for their
structural properties, but also for
electrical, thermal, tribological, and
environmental applications. Modern composite
are usually optimized to achieve a particular
balance of properties for a given range of
applications.

Conclusion and questions
Aeronautical industry has moved to acquire
new generation airplanes more efficient such
as Airbus A380, A350, Boeing 787 and CSeries
of Bombardier. Airplanes are largely
constructed using composite materials based
on advanced polymers according to evolution
of composite technology.

New structures made with advanced materials

are also susceptible to stress, deformation
and possible sudden failures susceptible as
impact.
