If the world set their personal needs and interest aside and focus more on kindness

and support to others, imagine what a better world we could have.

When you serve, the purity of your intention comes into play.
when you serve and you really want to help rather than create attention to
yourself, then you are truly serving.
Sincerity is very much connected to this motto.
You achieve a lot more when you serve without expecting in return. That is service
above self. You get a lot more (i.e. benefits to the heart and the soul) when you
serve because you care.
when you are focusing on others, without trying, you end up winning all around.
THAT is why service above self is so important.
Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.- Albert Einstein.
Service above self is moving out of the isolated island, looking beyond and
seeing other people. The idea of living for yourself is warped. You give but
little when you give off your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you
truly give- Khalil Gibran in The Prophet. Also the work done by one man has an
effect on the lives of every man in his vicinity and beyond. This is like when a
stone is thrown in a pond and the first ripple creates further ripples in the
water. Service above self is the only way by which the world will be rid of all
the problems we face today and we will be able to escape the chakravyuh we have
found ourselves in, today .
There have been so many men and women who have lived for others and devoted their
entire lives looking after the well-being of those who cant do that for
themselves. Every year there are men and women who win Nobel Prizes for various
causes. Even when they achieve remarkable feats in scientific and technological
fields they are serving the society. Some get recognition and others dont but that
is not their goal. All they want is a smile on the faces of the people they help.
Whether they are environmentalists or humanitarians or animal activists their goal
is the same- Help others! Mother Teresa revolutionised and defined the term help
when she reached a foreign country and strived to serve mankind.Others in recent
times to win this Nobel prize and were recognised for their contributions to man
kind were men like Kofi Annan, United Nations member, Shirin Ebadi, for her efforts
for democracy and human rights and just last year, in 2007, Albert Arnold Gore JR.
We, the next generation have a duty to follow in their footsteps and find new ways
to help our world become a better home. We have to do our part to convert Earth
from a house to a home for every man on Earth.

This is our world and we have to preserve it for the generations to come.

INSEAD VS HBS
INSEAD and HBS both are obviously top schools for general management.
If you want to work in Europe or Asia, INSEAD would likely be beneficial for you.
Their network is not so strong in states, but it's all over Asia and Europe.
HBS is considered as a different league, it probably gets the brand equity edge to
it.

Harvard or Oxbridge students do not defend their schoold because these schools have
very strong brand name and doesn't need huge marketing.Name is enough ,
students from these schools are considered to be from excellent institutions.where
as you can find INSEAD students everywhere trying to sell their school as the best
in the world.
If you attend HBS, for the rest of your life your HBS.HBS students make more money
post MBA.They usually acquire the post of CEO in many top companies when compared
to any other business schools.

Amazon and Google really value MBAs, INSEAD recruits internationally for these
companies.

Student decision should depend on two factors : 1) campus experience 2) career post
MBA
If youre planning to base your career in the US, then Harvard is the best.
However, if your goals are in Europe or Asia, and you want global experience and
exposure, INSEAD might meet your goals better.
Both are the absolute top MBA programs and you will have a wonderful experience and
a super launch for your post-MBA career from either of them.
