Supply Chain Management

Supply chain management (SCM) is material, information, and financial oversight when they
are in the process of supplying to a factory for wholesalers for retailers to consumers. Supply chain
management involves coordination and integrating this flow within companies and between
companies.

MDS Mart also has a supply chain management in their marketing system for vegetables,
meats such as chickens, and fruits. For vegetables, MDS Mart get from Miri and MDS Mart which
own by MDS Company itself, then will be sent to MDS Mart Sdn Bhd. Before being sold to
customers, the vegetables will be packing according to the type and quality of the vegetables.

Next, the supplier for chicken MDS Mart get it from Central Coldstorage Kuching (CCK) then
to MDS Mart. They provide the best service by cutting the chicken according to the wishes of the
customers itself. Lastly supply chain for fruits, the supplier is from local and imports such as South
Africa, Australia and China and then to the customers.
