my second masters at UCLA with the PLI program
● I love teaching, fostering independence in my learners,
and encouraging students to stand up and speak up for
themselves and others

ATTENDANCE
● Attendance is crucial to success!
● School starts promptly at 8:01am. Students are welcome
in the classroom as early as 7:45am.
● Students arriving past 8:01am must see the office for a
TARDY SLIP.
● An absence note is required if your child is absent.

● CHECK IN with your child regularly on assignments

● BE PATIENT, ENCOURAGING, and SUPPORTIVE: 6th
grade is challenging. We are working together to prepare
your child for middle and high school. 12

will be sending out information next week.
● Schoology is the new online gradebook. If your child
continues with LAUSD in middle/high school, Schoology
is the official gradebook.

● Chaperones will be needed. Please fill out the contact
information if you are interested in being a chaperone.
Your accommodations are covered, but you will need to
take a week off work. Chaperone duties include: hiking with
