NARRATIVE TEXT
 SNOW WHITE

Once upon a time there lived a little, named Snow White. She lived with
her aunt and uncle because her parents were died.
One day, she heard her aunt and uncle talking about leaving Snow White
in the Castle because they wanted to go to Amerika and they didn’t have
enough money to take Snow White with them. Snow white didn’t want her
uncle and aunt to do this. So, she decided to run away. The next morning she
run away from home when her aunt and uncle were having breakfast, she run
away into the wood.
In the wood, she felt very tired and hungry. Then she saw this cottage. She
knocked but no one answered, so she went inside and felt asleep.
Meanwhile, seven dwarfs were coming home from work. They went
inside. There they found Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs. The
dwarfs said, “What is your name?”. Snow White said, “My name is Snow
White”. One of the dwarfs said, “If you wish, you may live here with us”.
Snow White told the whole story about her. Then snow white and the seven
dwarfs lived happily ever after.
 DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
MY FAMILY

My family has six members: those are I, one my sister, two my brother,
and parents of course.
My mother is 39 years old. Her name’s Siti Khodijah. She’s thin-faced
and she’s got long, black hair and beautiful black eyes. She is still slim because
she always tries to stay in shape. She is very good-looking, always well-dressed
and elegant.
My father, Junaedi, is 17 years older than my mother. He is 56. In spite of
his age he’s still black-haired, with several grey hairs. He has bright black eyes.
He’s very hard-working. Besides that he is working in a junior high school.
Finally, my sister Aini. She is 16 years old. She is also black-haired and
black-eyed. She has long straight hair. She is definitely shorter than me. She is
rather introverted. But she is very sensible, smart and co-operative. And two
brother still in elementary school. First, Tomi is 11 years old. Second, Afi is 9
years old. They are both very funny.

PANDA

The Panda is a species of bear that is found in the mountains of central

and western China. One of the most famous and easily identifiable animals in
the world, the Panda is also considered as one of the rarest animal and is under
immense threat in its natural environment, primarily from habitat loss. Here is a
description about the Panda.
The Panda is a medium to large sized bear that like other species has a
large head, short tail and a long muzzle with a large nose, which gives them an
excellent sense of smell. The thick fur of the Panda is creamy-white in color
with large patches of black on the limbs, shoulders, ears and nose, and
distinctive black patches around their small eyes.
The Panda eats almost only bamboo and so has a number of physical
adaptations to help with its consumption including an extension of their wrist
bone which acts a bit like a thumb, allowing the Panda to grip onto bamboo
stems. They also have large jaws with strong jaw muscles that along with their
flat molars, allow the Panda to crush bamboo stems and leaves in order to
extract the nutrients.

DIVING IN BUNAKEN ISLAND

Last year, I left New Zealand for Bunaken Island. I went there with a
group of New Zealand divers. Getting there was not quite easy.
Soon after our arrival at Bunaken, we got a general briefing. It included a
description about how to take pictures under water.
Then, we began our diving. In our diving, we saw groups of tiny fish. In
order to identify them, we needed a good guide. Without some knowledge of
their habitat and behavior, it was difficult to identify.
In summary, the trip was mostly enjoyable. This place is so impressive
with its marine life.
 PROCEDURE TEXT
HOW TO MAKE A PENCIL BOX

Materials:
 An empty plastic bottle of mineral water
 A sharp cutter
 A piece of white or colorful paper
 Some paints
 Some glue

Steps:
 Wash the plastic bottle. Make sure it is clean when you use it.
 Cut the bottle into two halves.
 Wrap the bottle with a piece of colored paper.
 If you use plain paper, use the paint to make a drawing on it.
