Polycarbonate Erlenmeyer Flasks

Disposable Culture and Storage Vessels

BD Falcon Erlenmeyer flasks are disposable culture and storage vessels for cell
biology, microbiology, or molecular biology applications. They are suited for use on
shaker equipment for culturing bacterial, yeast, and mammalian cells as well as for
reagent storage.

The flasks are available from 125 ml up to 2,000 ml size with a baffled-bottom or
flat-bottom. Their 2-in-1 vented or non-vented leak-proof cap provides flexibility
with various applications. The wide mouth design of these flasks allows quick and
easy fluid addition and removal, as well as provides easy pipet access to the bottom
edges.

The manufacturer’s Erlenmeyer flasks are made from a polycarbonate resin that is
safer to use in the laboratory environment than traditional glass Erlenmeyer flasks.
They are autoclavable. To provide increased sterility assurance, the flasks are
nuclease-free, non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic with a sterility to SAL 10-6.
