Introduction

In English, when speaking of active voice and passive voice, reference is made to the

structure of the phrases or order of the words. The phrases in active voice are those that

indicate the subject who practices the action, while the passive phrases are those that show

the object that receives the action. To understand English better, it is very important to know

the two types of voices and their respective structure.

In the following work, we present some sentences in passive voice and active voice the

sentences will be in present, past, present perfect and future, taken from the video "who

moved my cheese" in order to continue practicing the structure for writing and pronunciation

of each of the sentences.


A.V: Hem and Haw ate all the cheese today.
P.V: All the cheese was eaten by them today.

A.V: Haw has found new cheese.


P.V: A new cheese has been found by him.

A.V: Hem will not eat new cheese.


P.V: The new cheese will not be eaten by him.

A.V: Scurry and Sniff run through the labyrinth to find cheese.
P.V: The labyrinth is run by the mice to find cheese.

A.V: Scurry and Sniff will find new cheese.


P.V: A new cheese will be found by them.

A.V Scurry and Sniff have found cheeses in another season.


P.V: The cheeses have been found by them in another season.
A.V: Hem and Haw visited the cheese station every day.
P.V: The cheese station was visited by them every day.

A.V: Haw wrote signs on the wall every day.


P.V: The signs on the wall are written by him.

A.V: They move the cheese every day.


P.V: The cheese is moved by them every day.

A.V: Scurry and sniff had been enjoying the new cheese.
P.V: The new cheese had been enjoyed by them.

A.V: Haw was exploring new spaces in the labyrinth.


P.V: New spaces were explained by him.
