Inaugural Ogden Street Jam to take place alongside First Friday Art Stroll

OGDEN, Utah - The Tony Hawk Foundation will host the inaugural Ogden Street Jam in conjunction
with the first Friday Art Stroll on June 21, 2020. The event will raise money and awareness for a new
skatepark in Ogden, UT.

The Ogden Street Jam in conjunction with the First Friday Art Stroll is designed to raise awareness for the
need of a creative space for Ogden City youth. The Tony Hawk Foundation raises money and assists in
building new parks in different cities across the country. These parks serve as safe places where youth can
express themselves.

The Ogden Street Jam will take place on National Go Skateboarding Day. The theme for the Ogden Street
Jam was created to embrace creativity. Apart from the design contest that will take place with Nurture the
Creative Mind, there will also be music, food and apparel. A DJ from Lavender Vinyl will play music
until 8 p.m. and then a local band will close the night. There will also be guest appearances from
professional athletes in the area such as Tony Hawk himself.

“The Tony Hawk Foundation fosters lasting improvements in society with an emphasis on supporting
youth in low-income communities through skateboarding programs and the creation of skateparks” says
Tony Hawk.
