Australian Freedom Rides
A group of students from the university of Sydney,
inspired by the United States, got on a bus on
February 12th, 1965 and drove through regional
towns such as Walgett, Kempsey and others the
experience of Aboriginal Australians.

American Freedom Riders
-  One of the biggest civil rights movements of
the 1960’s in America where a group of
activists wanted to test the effects of the US
Supreme Court’s 1960 decision to end racial
discrimination on public transport.
