This armoured car is air portable and is specially designed for long range
reconnaissance and guorilla warfare. There are four different types in service.

General features
A squat four wheeled vehicle, hull sloped downwards at the front and the rear.
Semi circular wheel arches with large stowage bins adjacent to each rear
Wheel with louvred engine ventilation cowl. Sand channels are mounted
across the front of the hull. Headlamps either side of the towing shackle
below the channels, There are three centrally placed periscopes on the drivers,
top hatch. The turret is shallow rounded with sloping sides and a prominent
sighting periscope on the right hand side. The H90 has a larger turret which
overhangs at the rear, The commanders hatch has a domed cupola and there

The BRDM was designed as a light reconnaissance vehicle with the ability
to cross water obstacles. In two other versions the hull is modified to form
storage for three or four guided missiles and when opened up form a launching
