09:00 – 11:00 Excursion and wine tasting at Cricova Winery
In Cricova underground galleries you will see over seventy streets
covering an area of nearly 53 hectares, each bearing Bacchic
names: Sauvignon, Cabernet, Cahor. Here you can admire one of
the oldest bottles of wine in Moldova, dating from 1902. There is
one story always told in this place about the Russian pilot Yuri
Gagarin, who during a visit in 1966, after getting tipsy, got lost and
missed the exit. He went out the next day, having spent the night
in the tasting room, currently named after him. You will also have
the chance to taste this wine in one of these halls.

Carpet weaving masterclass, museum tour and carpet collection.
Rustic art handcrafts complex host a handcrafts museum (carpets,
traditional costumes, etc), where locals and visitors can learn the
art of weaving a carpet.

Chateau Vartely is a modern resort, which comprises four hotel-
type houses, 2 restaurants, 3 tasting rooms, and a huge inner yard.
In the cellars and then in tasting rooms you will be acquainted with
the particularities of the “Chateau Vartely” wines. Also you will get
to know the best labels of local wine and learn about the right way
there are made, kept and served and will have this chance to taste
some of them.

ATU Winery is the first urban winery in Moldova. ATU wines are
produced in very small editions, 1000-3000 bottles, which allows
the winemakers to draw attention to every single drop of wine.
All wines are produced manually, from harvested to labeled.

Asconi Winery's primary focus is the production and sale of wines
tailored for each specific market that they operate in, emphasizing
the best possible price to quality ratio. They have fully adapted to
the requirements of the EU and all other regions and countries that
they operate in.

Visit Purcari village on a bike tour
If you are a wine enthusiast or just love to be in beautiful, pristine
surroundings, listening songs of a thousand birds, Purcari is definitely
the place you need to visit. Purcari was established in 1827 and now
the estate lies on 300 hectares of traditional and newly planted
vineyards. Negru de Purcari and Rosu de Purcari have been the
choice wine for some of the world’s most recognized dignitaries.
The old mansion’s galleries feature great collections of Purcari wines,
some bottles dating back to 1948. In the mansion itself, in the tasting
room decorated in an old style, you will have a chance to try the
exquisite Purcari wines.

09:40 – 11:40 Excursion in Tiraspol - Back in URSS
In Tiraspol you will have the opportunity to travel in time back to
USSR. You will start by visiting the monument of Vladimir Lenin
and tanks left from the Second World War. The city seems to be a
ghost of the Soviet past.
11:40 – 12:00 Transfer from Tiraspol to Tirnauca
12:00 – 14:30 Lunch and culinary workshop at Casa Karaman guesthouse

14:50 – 16:00 Excursion at Tighina Fortress


Tighina fortress was built in one the most powerful of the medieval
cities of Moldova – Tighina, which was an important trade outpost.
Bender Fortress is an architectural ensemble of irregular
quadrilateral plan, surrounded by wide walls, 2-3 meters thick,
made of limestone and brick. The fortress has 10 artillery bastions
at the corners, 11 towers, and 6 gates. It is surrounded by a moat of
stone.

16:45 – 20:15 Excursion, wine tasting and dinner at Castel Mimi Winery
A couple of years ago Mimi wines were introduced to the general
public. Because of their high quality and memorable flavors they
gained popularity fast among wine lovers. Their story however
begins long before, at the end of XIX century when Constantin
Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia during Russian Empire era,
decided to change the way Moldovan wines are made and builds the
first and the only true chateau in the country! The winery recently
opened its hotel and its plans include also opening a wine spa
facility.

Visit Curchi Monastery
Curchi Monastery is one of the most important architectural

The underground kingdom "Pivniţele din Brăneşti" (Brănești
Cellars) is located in a scenic area in the coast of Orheiul Vechi. It
always arouses astonishment of numerous local and foreign
visitors. "Pivniţele din Brăneşti" have a total area of 75ha, stretching

on a distance of 58 km at a depth of 60 m under the ground.
"Pivniţele din Brăneşti" produce white and red wines, sparkling,
dry, semi-dry and dessert. Particularly popular are the collecton
wines and the wines produced by special technology, such as
Madeira, Marsala, pastoral wine.

Excursion at Orheiul Vechi Archaeological Complex
The remnants of the first human settlements, which are some
hundreds of thousands years old, were found in the stone caverns
from here. On the rocky hill, you’ll fin21:d the ruins of a strong
Geto- Dacian (Moldovan ancestors) fortification, which acted as a

sanctuary for celebrating religious holidays and rituals in this
prehistoric community. The originality of Orheiul Vechi landscape
is due to the defile of the Raut river, dug under the form of a canyon
in the limestone layers of the former Sarmatia sea, about 14 million
years ago.
Visit Descopera Festival
DescOpera is a unique open-air music festival, organized at the foot
of the Orheiul Vechi Reservation limestone cliffs. The event
transports world-class Opera from its traditional setting to a
18:30 – 21:00 natural amphitheater in the midst of nature. DescOpera showcases
well-known classical masterpieces featuring artists from the
Moldovan National Opera over 2-3 days, led by Austrian conductor
Friedrich Pfeiffer.
