CERETÉ TOWN

• Iguanas’s park
This place was inaugurated during the administration of
Francisco Padilla Petro, better known as “El Negro Padilla”. It
is an enjoyable place, spacious, located at the riverside of the
Bugre river in Cereté town. It has a peatonal Bridge that
connects with the Cultural Center Raul Gomez Jattin.
It is ideal to visit between 4 and 9 pm. It is close to a nice food
place known as “Cereté Town”.

• Santa Clara park


It is one of the oldest parks in Cereté Town. It was recently
remodeled. It is an ideal place for family entertainment. It
has a Game zone, a fast food zone, and a place to practice
sports. During special festivals like Christmas and Halloween
it is usual to find a lot of families having fun.

• Boulevard
It is a park of 200 meters long with a beautiful footpath. Ideal
to exercise in the mornings of afternoons. It is close to many
gourmet restaurants like “Oh Santisimo” and “Kexpress”.
This place is decorated with lights during Christmas and
families gather to see fireworks on Christmas eve.
• Cultural Center Raul Gómez Jattin
This emblematic place is located at the center of the city. It
has held important cultural and religious events like the
international poet women festival, presentations of folklore
groups, and the final year holy mass. This place is
unfortunately abandoned by the current administration.

• Central Park
It is located in front of the Central Church. It is a nice place to
drink coffee, practice skating and exercise. It was recently
remodeled, before it was an around point with nice trees and
flowers.
