GRUTAS DE GARCIA

CASCADA COLA DE CABALLO

Grutas de García.
• Las Grutas de Garcia is a very famous place in N.L to visit, either for its great views and for its great
knowledge.
• But also because of her experience, she is very good about how the caves were formed and how long
they have been intact.
• Inside, marvel at the various formations, stories such as The Air Room, The Theater, The Coffin, The
Christmas Tree, The Hand of the Dead, The Glory, The Chapel, The Crucifix, The Hell, The Columns, The
Head del Burro and the Eighth Wonder.
• The tour lasts about 30-45 minutes and they show you the place as well as the different sculptures.
Being locked up maintains a stable climate
• Surprise yourself with a walk of 750 steps knowing the Grottos, formations of stalactites and
stalagmites where you will visit La Gloria, El Infierno, the Chapel, El Teatro, the only eighth wonder and
others. I recommend going with comfortable clothes and tennis shoes, and obviously a camera
because it can be used inside, even with flash. The temperature inside the caves is approximately 17
degrees throughout the year. Definitely a mandatory place to visit if you visit Monterrey!
CASCADA COLA DE
CABALLO
• It is a unique waterfall surrounded by exuberant vegetation, 27
meters high, which falls on the Sierra Madre Oriental and owes
its name to the particular fall of its torrent, which is reminiscent
of a horse's tail. On this site you can do various extreme sports at
an additional cost.
• Walk through its cobbled streets and pass by its most emblematic
buildings, such as the Church of Santiago Apóstol, the History
Museum, the House of Art and Culture and the viewpoint. A few
minutes from the center is the Presa de la Boca, a body of water
surrounded by mountains perfect for relaxing.
• People use horsetail for fluid retention, urinary tract infections
(UTIs), osteoporosis, loss of bladder control, and many other
conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support
these uses.
• Discover this 1.8-km round-trip route near Santiago,
Nuevo León. Generally considered a route of moderate
difficulty, it takes an average of 36 minutes to complete
it. It has a 27-meter drop and its name refers to the tail
of a horse due to its tremendous resemblance.
