 You can start the day with a walking tour for “Ciudad
Amurallada". This area has wonderful streets and colonial
houses of great beauty and history, or you can also take a
tour in an old carriage.
Inside of this extensive area you can find the neighborhood
Getsemani. It is the most popular and beautiful
neighborhood in Cartagena. There are cultural places that
you can enjoy, for example: The Palace of the Inquisition,
Clock tower, The Church of San Pedro Claver, the ‘Camellón
de los martires’, etc.

DAY ONE
At night, you can walk around the neighborhood quietly
and If you want to rest and have fun you can go to the
Plaza de la Santisima Trinidad. There you will find some
restaurants, outdoors cafes or pubs. You can also see
people play music and dance to the typical sounds of the
Colombian’s cost. There are some colorful murals and
colonial houses, where you can walk for cobblestone
streets and you can continue the party until the
next day in different bars.

 You start your day going to Castillo San Felipe, a
wonderful place to learn about the colonial history of

the city, you can find underground galleries and tunnels
that will lead to different spaces to know the
inf rastructure of the place.
After this you can go to enjoy a great variety of delicious
sea food that the city of cartagena has.
Before returning to the hotel and ending the day, you
can visit the famous Bocagrande beaches, where you
can have a drink or enjoy the wide variety of services
offered by the locals.

SAN FELIPE CASTLE | BOCAGRANDE BEACHES

 In the last days of your travel, you can go to Rosario
Islands or ‘Tierra Bomba’ Island. This islands are near to
Cartagena. On the ‘Bodeguita’ pier, you can take a boat to
go to the islands. The trip can delay 45 minutes
approximately but It depends of the sea and the tide.
In these places, there are beautiful beaches with pretty
nice landscapes. You can enjoy the day on the beach and
the sea. There are daypasses with different agencies or
hotels. They offer a daypass with lunch, some snacks,
drinks, the trip on boat and other things to enjoy the day

DAY THREE
there. These islands can be a quiet places to rest but If
you go on the vacation time maybe it doesn’t work very
well.
On the Rosario Island, you can go to the aquarium, and
you can play or try a water attrations like snorkelling, jet
ski, banana boat and a wake surf. But maybe, if you
would like to rest and take it easy, you can
rest on the beach and to wait a beautiful
sunset with a sea view.
