My friend's boyfriend is from Mallorca and here his recommendations:

I recommend sleeping in Palma. Santa Catalina is a nice neighborhood to stay in Palma. It is better
connected. If you sleep in Alcúdia, Pollença, Artà o in the mountain it’s worse connected.

I really like the north, the area of Alcudia and Pollença: if you can, go to the beach of S'illot. To eat,
a TOP place is ‘La pamboleria JUCARLO’ in Alcudia (they make pambolis, that is, typical
Catalan/Balearian bread with tomato and ‘embutido’, which is one of the most typical from
Mallorca). To see the sunset, you can go to the viewpoint of Es Colomer but surely it is very
crowded. There is also a place to see the sunset in the mountains called Sa Foradada which is very
nice.

In the north you can also find ‘Cala Sant Vicenç’ -Pollença zone. It has really nice views and you can
park really close. Also, my favorite beach in Mallorca is there: ‘Es Coll Baix’. It is placed in Alcúdia
but you have to walk for 30 min to arrive there. No bars there (this is common in Mallorca’s
beaches, at least in the nicest, wildest and most natural ones) so take some food with you to
spend the day there. Use tied and comfortable shoes to walk there.

In the south, ‘Cala Santanyi’ and ‘Cala Llombards’ are really nice beaches. It is ok to park there
(normally beaches in Mallorca are crowded. You should go early to find room to park). Also the
beach ‘Es Cargol’ (you need to park at ‘Far de Ses Salines’). This one is really really nice!

In the south, another really nice and good beach is ‘Es trenc’. The only thing with this one is that
you need to park a bit far: you can try to park at ‘Colonia de Sant Jordi’ and go to the beaches of
‘Es Dolç’ or ‘Es Carbó’ which are also very nice.

From the ‘serra’ zone: go to ‘Valldemossa’ (you need to try ‘coca de patata’, typical food from
there) and ‘Deià’. Also ‘Banyalbufar’. The beach is quite small but really really beautiful.

If you want to sleep in “Caimari” you have to go to ‘Cap de Formentor’. Go to ‘Sa Talaia
d’Albercutx’ to see the sunset. It is AMAZING. Go there with some time, you will find a lot of
people there. You can also go to ‘Cala Sant Vicenç’ and ‘Cala Figuera’. Also ‘Platja Victòria’ is nice.
If you want big sand zone you can go to ‘Platges de Muro’.

Typical food from Mallorca: Celler de Petra (in Petra’s village). Good food, good price, nice place.

Not worth it: Calo des Moro. In the same zone you have ‘Cala Varques’ (need to walk 30/40min) or
‘Cala Llombards’ and ‘Cala Santanyí’.

Really nice beach: ‘Platja de Collbaix’ in Alcúdia. 30 min walking but really really beautiful.

Nice trails: Torrent de pareis finishing at Sa Calobra (a bit touristic beach).

In the west and south: ‘Cala Santanyí’ and ‘Cala Llombards’. Both with parking and bar. They are
normally crowded. Cales de Mallorca really nice as well. You need to walk 30 min to arrive. They
are really wild.
