First of all, thank you to the Al-Mighty Allah S.W.T, because
with his blessings, we are here today for the weekly assembly.
Today, I would like to talk about teamwork and how
teamwork helps you succeed in life.
One of the most important lessons that all of us can learn
today, is how to work with others as a part of a team.
Teamwork teaches us how to listen effectively. Without
listening, it is impossible to have a dialogue with others –
communication becomes one-sided and any sense of
teamwork is lost. When we listen effectively, we build respect
for others, which is an essential aspect not just of being a
member of a team but of being a member of society. When we
are taught to listen, not to just hear, then we are taught that
what others have to say is valid and worthy of consideration.
I hope all of you here today are listening to what I have just
said just now and be a good team player in the future.
