Result of IGNOU OPENMAT (XLVI) and B.Ed.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) OPENMAT (XLVI) and B.Ed. Examination
were conducted by NTA on 27 July 2019 in Computer Based Testing mode in two shifts at 135
Examination Centres across the country. A total number of 25067 candidates appeared in these
exams that include 6784 in OPENMAT (XLVI) and 18283 in B.Ed. Entrance Examination 2019.

A total number of 131 Observers were deployed by NTA to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of
examination. The results have been declared today.

 In order to make the examination system transparent, the Question Paper and recorded
responses were displayed for the verification by examinees.
 To ensure accuracy of result, the keys of question papers were displayed in advance to invite
challenges, from 30th July till 1st August 2019. Challenges received were analysed and
resolved by experts.
 The Final Answer Keys and Provisional Score Card of examinees have been uploaded on the
NTA website: www.ntaignou.nic.in on 02.08.2019
 Examinees may view and download their Score Card using their Application number and Date
of Birth from the website www.ntaignou.nic.in.
 For this nationwide professional examination also, live CCTV Surveillance through 1316
CCTVs was carried out.
 Cheating using mobile network and other electronic devices was prevented using 1052
Jammers at all centres.

Candidates may note that:

1. The Score Card has been prepared based on the information provided by the candidates in their
Online Application Form. The information submitted by candidates is subject to verification by
admitting authorities.

2. The Score Card is provisional, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions given in the
Information Bulletin.

3. Selection of candidates for admission is subject to the admission criteria as laid down by IGNOU
and admitting authorities.

4. Category-wise final list for counseling shall be prepared by IGNOU, based on the reservation
category given by the candidate in the Online Application Form.
