Special charges (Specific Commodity Rates-SCR)

A type of charges applicable to particular goods originating from a specific location t to a


specific destination. Lower freight rates are usually department stores and boutiques and
is published for a special order or goods carried on the particular route. The purpose of this
is for freight shippers a competitive rates to encourage them to send goods by plane to
take advantage of airline transportation.
Tariff classification (Class Rates / Commodity Classification Rates)
