This document contains a table with data on 15 respondents' weekly allowance amounts, transportation expenses, and alternatives. It also includes an interpretation of the data. The interpretation finds that the dependent variable of transportation expense is not highly significant based on its p-value exceeding 0.5, while the independent variable of weekly allowance is significant with a p-value below 0.5. However, it determines that there is not a direct relationship between allowance and transportation expense, as some respondents with lower allowances reported higher expenses and vice versa.

Respondent week week Alternative 1 1200 120 walk 2 1050 128 walk 3 500 64 walk 4 800 64 walk 5 500 64 walk 6 800 64 walk 7 800 64 walk 8 1200 120 walk 9 800 72 walk 10 500 160 walk 11 1000 120 walk 12 1000 160 walk 13 800 32 walk 14 500 16 walk 15 1000 64 walk Interpretation The p-values for two variables are 0.565 and 0.103, respectively. This means that the dependent variable (transportation expense per week) is not highly significant since it exceeds 0.5. However, the independent variable (allowance per week) is significant because it is lower than 0.5. Thus, the relationship between the allowance and transportation expense per week is not direct. As shown in the gathered data, a higher allowance does not equate to higher transportation expense and vice versa. There are some respondents that have lower amount of allowance but have incurred higher transportation expense and there are some who have higher amount of allowance but chose to take the alternative which is to walk and incur lower transportation expense.
