2. External Examination:

 International General Knowledge Olympiad – 26th September 2019

SOF IGKO Examination will be conducted on 26th September during school hours.

3. Field Trip :13th September 2019.

Grade II students will go for the field trip on 13th September ,2019 (Friday) (date is subjected
to change as per the availability of the venue) as a part of their Social Science curriculum
emphasizing on the topic ‘ Sensitivity’.
There will be regular school (8.30 am – 3.15 pm). (Note will be given for the same in the
student handbook.)

4.INTERHOUSE COMPETITION: 27th September 2019

Fantasy Monologue (Fairy Tale / Cartoon character) (Individual Competition)

Students have to choose a character from a fairy tale or cartoon, and prepare and perform a
monologue.
The monologue could be from the story or it could also be imaginary (what the characters
might really say if given a chance).
The monologue should not be more than a minute.
 Examples: Tooth Fairy, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Little
Mermaid, Gretel, Hansel, Shoemaker, Aladdin, Tom Thumb, Pinocchio, Frog Prince, the boy who
cried wolf etc.

Students will be marked on the following-

Presentation, costumes and clarity - 10 marks
Content Relevance - 10 marks
Overall performance - 10 marks, a total of 30 marks

4. Fun Friday – 27th September 2019

On the last Friday of every month, students may come to school dressed in smart casual
clothes. However, parents need to ensure that the clothes are decent and appropriate. Also
note that changing of clothes in school is strictly prohibited
