WORK EXPERIENCE

Objective: To develop a prototype of an IoT (Internet of Things) based Automatic Weather

System, that collects weather-related data using sensors, from weather stations all over the
India Meteorological country, and displays it on a web portal. May 2019
Department, Pune, Arduino Mega, which has ATMega 2560 microcontroller was used. It was programmed using -
Summer Intern the Arduino IDE. Jul 2019
Result: Successfully built and field-tested a prototype with required features. Model soon
to be deployed in observatories.
PROJECTS

Objective: To develop a water resistant multi-rotor drone (hex-copter or quad-copter) with a

suitable hollow base that allows it to float on water’s surface.
Jun 2019
The drone will be fitted with various on-board sensors to measure water quality in terms of
Water Sampling Drone -
electrical conductivity, dissolved Oxygen content, pH, turbidity, temperature at various
Present
sites.
An on-board GPS will help map the water quality parameters in various locations.

Rover controlled by a Python program running on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ equipped with a Pi-
cam. Nov 2018
Path Follower using
SSH and VNC used to work on the Pi. OpenCV library was used for image processing. -
Image Processing
The image of the path ahead was treated as a Numpy array and RGB values were compared Jan 2019
to distinguish the path from the background.

Line Follower: Infrared sensors are used with Arduino Uno and P.I.D. control to follow a
black track on a white background.
Gesture Controlled Rover: Uses ADXL-345 Accelerometer to record and identify hand
orientation. NRF-24L01 modules are used for wireless control.
Mobile Controlled Crane: HC05 Bluetooth Module is used to receive control commands

from mobile phone. Servo motors are used to implement the pick-and-place mechanism.
Miscellaneous Projects -
Music Controlled Lock: Amplitude Sensor is used to take Audio input, in the form of a

digital signal . The incoming signal is compared with the recorded one, and if the error is
within a certain margin, the lock opens.
Bathroom Automation System: Passive Infrared Sensor HC-SR501 is used for motion
detection in a bathroom cubicle. The bulb corresponding to that cubicle turns ON only when
motion is detected. This model is implemented at 45% of the market price.
