1 Field Upgrade Install

Instructions - 03/04/2006

This installation is in two parts. You will need to start on the

Acquisition workstation first.

It is critical that you begin installation on the Acquisition.

Install upgrade on Acq Station
---------------------------------
On the Acquisition Client:
Insert CD into caddy
If application is up, press the Alt and left <- (arrow) keys to get a terminal
window. The application will be terminated after the installation package is
run.

su
passwd
# bash

fischacq# pkgadd -d /cdrom/cdrom0/fimgupgrade* - hit <return> to accept the

default values. Answer y to all other
questions. This will take about 3
minutes ..........
fischacq# eject

---------------------------------
On the Review Server or Client:
Insert CD into caddy
If application is up, press the Alt and left <- (arrow) keys to get a terminal
window. The application will be terminated by the installation package.

fischreva # pkgadd -d /cdrom/cdrom0/fimgupgrade* - hit <return> to accept the

default values. Answer y to all other
questions. This will take about 3
minutes ..........
fischrev # eject

Return to Acq Station
