She Said Yes

Yes, one word that is enough to answer all the questions in my head. Yes, one word that changed my
world. Out of all the questions I wanna asked, this is the important one that united us. "Will you be my
girlfriend?"

It all started with a hello, a simple text message. She was on her 5th grade when I got to know her. Casey,
her name was just an ordinary name for me before. But it all changed when we both got fond of each
other. Everyday texting each other not knowing that we are slowly falling for each other. It was all good
until I decided to stop my communication with her because I still have issues with my ex girlfriend. I
thought that it will be the end of our fairytale but I was wrong when she went to the same university
where I also studied during highschool. I guess destiny wants us to cross paths again. I did not miss the
chance to court Casey. I was hessitant at first because I am that "torpe" kind of guy. But, I took the risk
because Casey is worth it. I asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?" And on June 6, 2013 the day that changed
our lives, the day she said yes. It was a roller coaster ride ever since that day. We were happy and inlove
even though we are still young. But, a roller coaster has its ups and downs. We encountered countless
problems as we continue to fight for our love. Different kinds of problems that almost led us to breaking
up. We even did not talk for almost a month. We let our emotions ate us up and took control of
everything. Misunderstanding and numerous small fights that tore us apart. But, if you really love
someone, you will always find a reason to come back. I did my best effort to win her back. To have Casey
back in my life. And it was like fireworks exploaded inside of me because I got her back. I have my baby
back in my life. And this time, I will not let anything break us apart again. We will be strong to fight and
face the war together. This time, we will be mature enough to talk things through and solve our
problems together. The love that we have is one of the things that keep us alive. Each day I am thankful
that I am blessed to have such wonderful girlfriend. I am so lucky to have Casey because she helped me
in everything and molded me into a better version of myself. It feels like yesterday was our first day as
couple but it is already our sixth year of being a couple. I know we still got a lot to go but I am sure that
we will conquer every challenges in life as one. There might be billion reasons to leave, but we will
always have that one reason to stay and fight for our love.

From elementary crush to highschool sweethearts and now college couple. I still can't believe that it has
been six years since she said yes. I am so proud of what we have become as a couple. I did not regret
taking that risk on asking her to be my girlfriend. Yes, I love her so much. Yes, Casey is my inamorata.
