Process for freshers
Infosys recruits new employees as Graduate Engineer Trainee by:
1. Campus placement process 2. Off campus process
3. Walk in Interview drives
Infosys conducts its hiring process in following phases . 1. Online test
2. Technical Interview
3. HR and Managerial interview
Online test will be a written test of about 1.5 hours, in which your general aptitude is checked. You
will asked questions based on quantitative aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English.
After qualifying your written test, you will be called for Technical interview round at Infosys. Infosys
expect you to have strong command in subjects like any programming language like C, C++, Java,
Python. Basic understanding of Data structure and Algorithms are required. You need to have good
command over database and SQL.
Infosys limited is an Indian multinational corporation that provides
business consulting, information technology and outsourcing
services. Infosys is one of the leading IT Company of India. Following
is the recruitment and selection process of Infosys :

Once you qualify your Technical interview round at Infosys, it is time for last and final process- HR
Interview Round. HR round main objective is to check your adaptability with company’s culture, test
your communication skills, check your confidence and pressure handling abilities. HR people will ask
questions based on your personal profile as well from your resume.
Process for experienced
Experienced candidates can apply to Infosys in various roles and department. They need to register
using following :
1. Register their profile on official Infosys website
2. Registering on third party job sites like Naukri and Monster
3. By attending recruitment drives
4. Via employee referral system
5. Via placement consultants
Then candidates are required to appear in the screening processes of Written test, Technical round
and HR round
Infosys conduct a written test where questions are asked on general aptitude (quantitative aptitude,
Logical reasoning and English) and coding assignment is given. You need to clear your test in order to
proceed to next round.
Technical round at Infosys depends upon on 2 things :
1. Your profile, which means work you have done so far
2. Company requirement. Company will be specifically asking
questions from certain areas of its requirement. This round can be divided into 2 rounds.
1. Core round where only technical questions are asked
2. Managerial round where situational related questions are
asked
HR round is final process in the whole interview process. Following things are evaluated in your HR
interview round at Infosys.
1. Your adaptability with Infosys role and culture

2. Your comfort-ability with salary, designation, location, shift timing etc


3. Your behaviour regarding peers and seniors at previous companies
4. Yourcommunicationskills
Conclusion
Recruitment and selection process in an organisation is important in
order to attract an effective workforce. This is important because it
would determine the business success and would affect the whole
organisation operation. One of the most valuable assets in an
organisation is the employees. I believe that Infosys have a very
efficient model for their selection and recruitment as they test
multiple skill set of their potential employee during the process itself.
Through their process of selection and recruitment they can and in
past they have successfully been able to attract many freshers as
well as experienced candidates to work for them.
