7. Are you willing to relocate or travel?

Ans 1: Yes, I accept that obviously. Because when we travel to other
countries we can gain our knowledge and skills, that what we works and we can
simplify our work by gaining knowledge from others who is good in my field.
Ans 2: Sir/madam, I am very interested in advancing my knowledge and if
relocating is a part of that then I would like to relocate. Also sir/madam I am
fresher, flexible, easily adapt to different environment and energetic so relocating
is not a big issue for me. Also with the relocating different type of peoples are meet
and we share our view with them and increase in knowledge. I think it is also a
process of socialization too.
Ans3: As a fresher, you must show that is adaptable and willing to do the
distance. “I’ll be willing to travel, and that will give me a good opportunity to learn
about new place, new cultures and make me more rounded to handle various situation.

11
Addition, I have the experience of living outside a few years and this is not being a
problem for me.

per the company requirement.

Sir I am adaptable to any kind of environment as I have studied in different

places, can mingle with anyone and I am eager to learn new things so that I can improve
my skills and apply what I have learnt to develop the company and it will be helpful for
the company.

Sample answer 3:

Yes sir, If I love my job then I too love to take my responsibilities related job.
It will be beneficial for me to relocate as it will increase my communication skills as
well as knowledge related to other culture. I'm friendly in nature so it will be no issue at
all. And if I know my work I can be best anywhere.

8. Who are your role models?

Ans: The two traps here are unpreparedness and irrelevance. If you grope
for an answer, it seems as you have never been inspired. Have a few heroes in
mind, from your mental “Board of Directors” – Leaders of this industry, from
history or anyone else who has been your mentor. Be prepared to give examples of
how their words, actions or teachings have helped you inspire your achievements.
9. Why should I hire you?
Ans: I am a fresher and do not have any practical experience. But since I’m a
quick learner, I focus on every opportunity given to me at work and deliver the best of
the company’s expectations. I’m also very adaptable to the conditions changing work
and give my time and effort where needed. I have the intention to grow with the
company.
Or
Ans: Again, explain that you are very interested in the job and demonstrate what it
is about your past experiences, education and qualifications that makes you ideal
for the job. Show enthusiasm and support your answers with evidence wherever
you can. Elaborate on all the past experiences and skill sets that make you suitable
for the job. In cases where your past experience is not directly relevant, you can
still find elements of it that can be useful. Play up team skills, computer skills,
leadership roles, specific courses and independent research activities that can be
useful to the job at hand to show your initiative even where you don't have directly
relevant job experience.

12
10. How do you handle stress and pressure?
Ans: A typical interview question, asked to get a sense of how you handle
on-the-job stress, is "How do you handle pressure?" Examples of good responses
include:
1.Stress is very important to me. With stress, I do the best possible job. The
appropriate way to deal with stress is to make sure I have the correct balance
between good stress and bad stress. I need good stress to stay motivated and
productive.
2. I react to situations, rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled
and doesn't become stressful.
3. I actually work better under pressure and I've found that I enjoy working in a
challenging environment.
4. From a personal perspective, I manage stress by visiting the gym every
evening. It's a great stress reducer.
Prioritizing my responsibilities so I have a clear idea of what needs to be done
when, has helped me effectively manage pressure on the job.
or
Ans 1: I have the ability, power and strength to work under extreme
pressure as I can strive hard to meet up with the requirements of the objectives
being set by the organization. Working under pressure has never been hard for me
as I consider the pressure as pleasure.
Ans 2: Sir. I know that it is somehow difficult to work under pressure. But
sir I would like to say that if such type of situation arises I will definitely work,
because if we work under pressure we will be able to know our strength and
weakness, so that we can remove the rising of pressure in future time.
Ans 3: Always say “Yes” to this question otherwise there is no point in hiring
you. “I can work well under pressure, because it becomes a new learning experience
and prepares me for the next stages in career growth”

11. Would you lie for the company?

Ans 1: Sir, It totally depends on the situation. Usually I don't support to lie
but my life is for benefits of the company and without affected thousands of people
than I can speak.
Ans 2: I am not a hundred percent honest person neither a big fat liar. I
believe on the concept of a "white lie" and if the situation demands I will tell it if
and only if the situation actually calls for it!
Ans 3: As I am from marketing background, confidently telling a lie and
building a reputation, then using the same reputation to make it true is an art. All
we need is to balance everything before it gets exposed.
Ans 4: I would not say yes or no because it totally depends on situation
and for handling a particular situation first of all I will understand the demand of
situation and all pros and cons. I am not a person who always speaks truth and lie
as well, but I am person who always handle situation by finding so many
alternatives and by smart way.
12. Who has inspired you in your life and why?
Ans 1: I am not going tell about any great personalities. I am very much
inspired by my mother, because she has so many challenges in her life and works

13
for the welfare of family without any rest. During her leisure time also she would
think only about the family and children and has much dedication towards the
family and adjusts so much for the family. Is this thing not enough to get inspired?
Also we can compare her life with a working life. She does all her works
within particular time and keeps moving on to keep the home clean and achieving
her goals :-).
Ans 2: There is no particular person who inspires each person has certain
qualities even a small child inspires me to be honest, My Parents inspire me to be
dedicated and responsible in the same way many people inspire me in many
qualities.

13. Are you a team player?/ Do you prefer to work independently or

on a team?
Ans: You are, of course, a team player. Be sure to have examples ready.
Specifics that show you often perform for the good of the team rather than for
yourself is good evidence of your team attitude. Do not brag; just say it in a matter-
of-fact tone this is a key point.
Ans: I am equally comfortable working as a member of a team and independently.
In researching the LMN Company, your mission statement and the job description,
I could see similarities to my previous position where there were some
assignments that required a great deal of independent work and research and
others where the team effort was most effective. As I said, I'm comfortable with
both.
Give some examples of teamwork.

14. What motivates you? - Best Answers

Ans: There isn't a right or wrong answer to interview questions about
what motivates you. The interviewer is trying to understand the key to your being
successful in the job he is interviewing for, and wants to make sure it's a good fit.
Consider, in advance of interviewing, what actually does motivate you and come
up with some specific examples to share during the interview.
Your response will vary based on your background and experiences, but, you can
share your enthusiasm and what you like (d) best about your job.
Or
Ans 2: For any one Family play very important role for motivating them in ups and
down of life so in my case too. But I feel self motivation is best motivation to
overcome from any problem, I do recharging myself with motivating thoughts and
speech which brings a positivity around me and thus makes me to chase for my
dream.
15. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Ans 1] After 5 Years, It is sure that I will be a good knowledgeable person
in which Technology I will be working. I can't say in what position I will be
working but it is sure I will be in good position to give me best possible services to
the Company.
Ans 2] During 5 years, I see myself as good knowledgeable employee and
definitely like to share my knowledge to all who actually needed. I can’t predict in
5 year which position I achieve but try my best to get a good position. I believe
Company Growth will be more Important with my career Growth, I wish Company
14
trend Always be in up direction.
Ans 3] Sir, I always believe that organization where I am working should
grow, I want my organization where I am working in a top position, my
organization to be as a benchmark for other organization, I believe that my career
growth will not increase the organization growth but organization growth will
increase my career growth, so I would like to focus more on organization growth
in next five years.
OR
Most employers do not expect to stay for 5 years in the same company
even though he would like. So to keep it professional, you can answer “After five
years, I see myself in a position of responsibility in the organization after learning
continuously and handling different situations at work and with people. I see
myself achieving this through honesty, patience and determination”
16. Are you an Introvert or Extrovert?
Ans: Being on either of the extremes at work can be bad for you and the
company. Your behavior at work should be as per the requirement. To answer this
question you can say something like: I behave as per the requirement of the
situation. For e.g. If I am representing the company at an event which requires me
to talk to a lot of people, I become an extrovert while if there is some serious issue
under discussion, I think quietly and deeply on it.
17. Describe your ideal company, location and job.
Ans 1: Sir/madam, according .to my point of view, the ideal company is that
which provide the growth and learning opportunity to their employees. Also it has a
clear definite vision for itself and for their employees. Also sir/mam, it believes in
working as a team player.

Ideal job is that where the person enjoys doing his jobs, where he/she use
their knowledge effectively, make other peoples happy and most important where
he/she respected.

Ideal location is that location sir/madam where a person live happily,

where he/she respected, where he/she get able to bring things of daily life easily.

Ans 2: The company which provides me an opportunity to apply my

skills and knowledge with the continuous learning and I will be the best fitting into
the groove of organization by joining the job.

Regarding location, I grew up by studying in different places and I came

out of my comfort zone to achieve my goal. It is same here; I ready to work in any
place if my suitable company gives me an opportunity to work with it.

Ans 3: According to me an ideal company provides opportunity to

implement innovative ideas to the employer, give potential support, and maintain
good relationship between employer and customers.
I prefer any location where working environment is cool with friendly
nature colleagues and other supportive staff.
In point of job, I would like to work in a condition where I get competitive
environment in which my knowledge and potential skills get improve day by day
15
and my work get recognition and respect along with growth.

18. If you are rejected today, then what will you do?
Solution: Well this question does not mean that they are rejecting you. So
don’t get dishearten. This is more like a ‘stress question’ to judge how you react
during a stress situation. This could also be because they want to know your other
plans like if you have also applied for other companies or if you are very adamant
about joining other company. Either ways it does not mean that they are going to
reject you. And make sure your answer is positive.
Give reasonable answer

19. If you won $10 million lottery, would you still work?
Ans: Yes, I will continue my work in your company; because I want my knowledge
grow. I need an environment where my knowledge and experience enhance. And the
$10 million lottery makes me and my family happy, but it can't grow my knowledge
and skills. So, I will have to work to grow my experience and knowledge.
Ans 2] Yes Sir I will continue working in your organization because
money is temporary and work is class and permanent. Earning money is not
important, earning satisfaction is more important. Having that much money feels
me very happy, but this money will never give me satisfaction, because I have it by
'Luck' not by 'Hard work'. I will still work and do more hard work to make this 10
million into 100 millions. And money makes us happy. But knowledge will help us
how to make money.
Ans 3] My brain will rust if I do not work. Hence I will continue to work.
May be I come to office by car instead of a bike and stay in my own house instead
of rented one.
20. Q. What are you passionate about?
Ans: 1.One of my greatest passions is helping others. When I was younger, I've
enjoyed helping mom with household repairs. As I grew older, that habit grew and
I desired to help others as well. I like helping people find solutions that meet their
specific needs.
2. I’m passionate about painting. I take an evening art class once a week and try to
find time each weekend to paint. Painting is a good way for me to relax and even
though I don't have much talent, I do it enjoy it.
3. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer and ever since then, I have spent time
volunteering to help raise awareness and funding for cancer research. I volunteer
for Pan Can, the advocacy group, and I'm part of their volunteer network. One of
the things I'm passionate is to assist in finding a cure, however I can.

21. Give me an example of your creativity

Ans: Keep in mind, one example of where you used your mind in resolving
a problem of any kind in any place. • The interviewer is looking for an example to
see how you think differently.
Creativity is nothing but a problem solving techniques. Once in my
village electricity problem was the major problem. When I was in class VIII I could
not study at night due to lack of light. Then an idea come from mind that I gathered
10 used old batteries fell them into a pot full of salted water and connect them

16
series by wire and two endpoint connect with some LED that provided me
sufficient light.
Ans 2: Sir Creativity means to make innovative from basic things.
My creativity is I learn from my mistakes and try to make failure in
success.
Ans 3: Thank you sir/madam for asking this question, in my point of view
creativity is that where the person think different from others by their innovative
or new ideas. For achieving their objective like technology which is upgrading day
by day.

career for myself. I will adhere to the company policy and accept my salary
according to its”
Ans 1] Sir/mam, as a fresher I would Expect that the salary will be

knowledge and salary does not matter for fresher only need experience and some

expectations.
Or
Answer: As per the company policy. OR As per (Company Name) policy. OR
As per the company norms.
HR: My company policy is just 2000 Rs. per month. Will you still work with us?
Answer: Show the HR that you are little serious before answering this question and
after few seconds of serious mood showing say this: Well sir being a fresher I just want
to learn and explore my core skills and strength so I would again say that I am very
much OK with whatever is the company offering me as far as salary is concerned.
HR: But don't you think you won't be able to sustain with this much low salary?
Answer: Sir/Ma'am, I have already done a research on your respected company before

let me feel troubled on financial matters. I am again saying being a fresher I am just
willing to follow the guidelines and directions given by my seniors and come up to their
expectations and meet both company and my future growth goals.
HR: If your senior says you to do data theft and escape with him and make money by
selling that data. Would you still follow your senior's direction?
Answer: Sir/Ma’am, if you have noticed in my previous answer I have said seniors not
senior which means that if one of the senior is going against the company policy then I
have the other options also whose directions and suggestions are still available to me.
HR: Alright!! But still you must have seen or gone through some web site for fresher
placement or attended any training for these answers, I want to hear your own answer.
17
Answer: You are absolutely right sir/ma’am, Our College has conducted a training
program for campus preparations and experts have taken our mock interviews and
suggested us some do's and don'ts. I have worked on those suggestions and prepared
myself for this interview keeping in mind that every company would respect a
candidate with proper homework before coming for the campus interview. Even if you
allow me I can share many exciting facts about your esteemed company that I have
collected during that preparation. Tell me something about our company.
There is no doubt about this issue. • Read the Internet for as much
information as you can get • Know what the company’s business and core
competencies • Ask friends or acquaintances about the company. • Find how many
offices / branches that the company has.

39.Tell me something about yourself which is not there in your Resume / CV

This is an interesting question to test your personality. Interviewer is trying to know more about
yourself apart from your academics and your extracurricular activities. i.e., your value system,
your ability to work with teams, leadership skills, etc. Be prepared for this question.

How to answer:
Think about how your personality has moulded over a period of time and try to think of a few
moments in your life that have had an impact on your behavior.

For example, in your earlier days of your college, you did not like studying in groups, but during
your pre final year, you realized that there are many projects which require good team work and
you benefited a lot because of this.

Or initially you are a movie buff but after you’re scored less in a particular exam, you realized
the value of time and since then you are focusing on your academics.

40.How do you deal conflicts? Or Think of a situation where you handled a conflict
successfully?

Sample Answer:
We hosted a big event which had multiple programs and our team was assigned to take
care of receiving the guests, serving them food, beverages, giving them the right
information of where and what events they can attend. My team mates were not paying
attention to the tasks assigned to them and I was having hard time keeping them together.
I took up the issue and gathered them together and explained the problem. I told them
that by knowing and networking with the guests they may benefit from them in future in
some form. So they realized the value of doing their job. Most of them have realized the
mistake and together we are able to finish the task given to us.
