Specific purpose: to share to my audience how I lied and its effect towards my relationship with my
friend and its effect in my life.

Central message: it’s never good to lie. Lying destroys relationships, worst even your own life.

Thesis statement: Lying is the catalyst that destroy relationships. For even with a single lie, it breaks
apart the bonds painstakingly crafted and destroy the life you once had. Someone once said, trust takes
a year to build but only a second to destroy.
