Finding Time to Study​: Logic Games​ - 1 section, 22-24 Qs:


-Start your prep earlier than you think necessary. 4 games, 5-7 questions per game
-Set aside specific times to study each day. 2 pages per game​ (starting June 2012)
-Try to spread your studying throughout the week.
-Give yourself at least 1-2 days off per week.
-Try to reduce time spent on other things while studying. Logical Reasoning​ - 2 sections, 48-52 Qs:
24-26 short arguments per section - you analyze each
Getting Started (7 “Don’ts”):
1. Don’t study without a plan of attack​.
2. Don’t be discouraged by diagnostic tests. Reading Comp​ - 1 section, 26-28 Qs:
3. Don’t study first thing when you wake up. 3 long passages, 2 related short (starting June 2007)
4. Don’t overdo it. 5-8 questions per passage
5. Don’t start other difficult projects while studying.
6. Don’t use random books you find in stores.
7. Don’t get too stressed - try meditation.
Experimental (used to test new Qs):
One section, could be any of LG, LR, or RC
Creating a Plan of Attack (Sample): Could be any of the 5 sections (before/after break)
Month 1: Logic Games + Logical Reasoning
-Week 1: Easy/Medium Logic Games
-Week 2: Hard Logic Games + Easy Logical Reasoning
-Week 3: Medium/Hard Logical Reasoning Writing Sample​ (don’t worry about it)
-Week 4: Full sections of Games + Reasoning

Month 1: Logic Games + Logical Reasoning


How to Review:
-Week 1: Easy/Medium Logic Games
1. Analyze exactly where your error came from. Was it in the

-Week 2: Hard Logic Games + Easy Logical Reasoning 2. If passage, was it your approach to reading the passage

itself that you misunderstood?

-Week 4: Full sections of Games + Reasoning choice you chose? ID what in the wrong answer choice
