Nia : Hi Annisa Waalaikumussalam. I’m fine. And I want to go to my campuss. And what
about you?
Titis : oh yeah.. what about the famous food areas, in your area?
Nia : Nasu Cemba is a very popular cuisine for Masserenpulu community even for people
from outside Massenrenpulu who have tried this type of food. Nasu Cemba made of
meat cooked gravy by using a typical ingredient that is cemba leaves..
Titis : Wow.. it looks like it’s very delicious Nia can you explain how to make Nasu Cemba?
Nia : If you want to make Nasu Cemba materials used 1 kg beef, 2 kg Bone( usually the
best is the collar bone), 5 garlic cloves, 8 red onions, 6 pieces ginger, 2 pieces of
pecan,1/2 tablespoon pepper, ½ tablespoons roasted coconut (refined to remove oil),
Cemba leaves 9 young ones), salt, flavoring
Nia : How to cook. Wash off beef and Bone and then cut into cubes ( usually for sale at a
meat stall tied to a bone using a small raffia rope). Garlic, onion, ginger, and candlenut
are smoothed and mixed and the pan-fried until fragrant. Add the beef that has been cut
into the oan and cooked. Add garlic, onion, ginger and stir fry. Add pepper and
turmeric. Add salt and flavor ( to taste). Enter the( roasted coconut that has been
crushed to remove the oil) 2 tablespoons. Add the Cemba leaves around a handful.
Cook about 2-3 hours later ready to serve. Enjoy!
