Procedure to pay electricity Bill Payment Online using RTGS/NEFT mode:-
Consumer having electricity bill amount above Rs 5000/- may pay bill online in RTGS/NEFT mode by following the steps as under:-
• Select your bill and click on Pay Bill button
• Select any one RTGS/NEFT bank gateway and click on proceed Button. • Payment Challan Form shall be generated which include beneficiary details • Now consumer can initiate RTGS/NEFT payment either by visiting any Bank Branch or using Net Banking. Visiting Bank Branch • Print the generated Challan Form and visit any Bank Branch. • Process the RTGS/NEFT payment using the information as per the Challan Form. Using Net Banking • First of all add beneficiary using beneficiary detail given on Challan Form. • Initiate RTGS/NEFT by entering correct bill amount. • Once RTGS/NEFT payment is credited in HPSEBL’s Account, Consumer can print payment receipt from HPSEBL website. Note:- • Challan once generated shall be valid for 24.00 Hrs and hence the bill payment is required to be initiated within 24 Hrs. • The payment shall be automatically updated in Consumer’s account and Consumer has no need to visit subdivision to produce/submit any payment proof. • Transaction will be rejected in case of discrepancy in beneficiary Account No. OR amount.
