Chapter 1
Hypothesis
The researchers foretell the research questions to have a prior understanding. The
researchers foretell the answers the research questions:
1. This product makes their work hassle free because the product will help the students to
organize their materials and tools to be used.
2. This product will help the students feel more comfortable while installing and make their
surroundings clean and organize as well as to be able to avoid accidents.
3. This product can make the work of student easier and faster and this will able enable
them to have a proper attitude to eliminate materials that is not even necessary.

Figure 1. Conceptual Framework of the Study
The researchers were able to make a conceptual framework that the product of the
researcher can benefit the community.
Scope and Limitations
The range of this study is only focused on the root causes of making a farther mess
among students Electrical Installation and Maintenance students in La Salle Academy. It won’t
focus to the other students like STEM students, HUMSS/GAS students, ABM students, junior
high school students, grade school students, and kindergarten students.
Moreover, it won’t focused in how to install an electrical installation among the topics
that been tackle during class discussions. Since, the research title is about preparing and
organizing materials in installing an electrical installation.
Theoretical Framework
According to the Sakichi Toyoda, 5s Japanese theory is a workplace organization method
that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seisō, seiketsu, and shitsuke. These have
been translated as "Sort", "Set In order", "Shine", "Standardize" and "Sustain". It describes how
to organize a work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items
used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order. The decision-making process
usually comes from a dialogue about standardization, which builds understanding among
employees of how they should do the work. 5s was developed in Japan and was identified as one
of the techniques that have been applied in organizing (Miller M. , 2017)
Definition of Terms
Modified Systemized Cart. Is an innovated organizer cart to enable student make their work
hassle free.
EIM students. Are the students taking Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
Cart. Is a kind of vehicle which is designed for a transportation using two wheels and usually
pull or push by the people.
EIM. Is Electrical Installation and Maintenance
Chapter 2
This related literature is related to our research study, according to Umble and Murakami,
this research presents a case study of a virtual ‘textbook’ application of the theory of constraints
(TOC) in a Japanese tool manufacturing company. Hitachi Tool Engineering uses state-of-the-art
technology to design and manufacture cutting tools known as End-mills. The plant described in
this study is a classic V-plant and exhibited all of the standard problems of a traditionally
managed V-plant, existing within the unique framework of Japanese work culture. Plant
management applied the five focusing steps and used the operations strategy tools, including
drum-buffer-rope and buffer management, to improve the system. Following the approach
recommended by Eli Goldratt, the thinking process tools of current reality tree and evaporating
clouds were used to help identify and resolve problems when the implementation encountered
major obstacles. While the implementation was a huge success, the devastating effect of a core
problem being left unresolved is well documented. The implementation generated significant
improvements in work-in-process inventory, production lead time, on-time delivery, productive
capacity, inventory turnover, product quality, sales volume, and profitability. Moreover,
management has extended the introduction of TOC to the non-manufacturing functions and TOC
is becoming the common company culture that bridges four culturally diverse manufacturing
plants (Umble & Murakami, 2005).
Vehicle organizer
This related literature is related to our research study, according to Shea and Spector, An
article organizer for a motor vehicle is provided and consists of a rectangular housing having an
open top with a plurality of partitions crating multiple compartments to hold different articles in
an orderly manner. Hand grips are on the housing so that it can be carried therefrom and a
plurality of anti-skid fingers are on the bottom of the housing to a prevent it from sliding about.
In a modification the housing and partitions are adjustable to compensate for different sized
articles that fit into the compartments (Shea & Spector, 1990).
Appliance Organizer
This related literature is to our research study, according to Denny B., an organizer
device for hair care appliances including a housing and a plurality of receptacles therein which
are adapted to receive hair dryers, hair curlers, and other hair care appliances. The receptacles are
exposed from one or more surfaces of the housing and they are formed of an insulative material
which allows them to decrease the initial heat-up time for curling irons by minimizing the effects
of convection and conduction. The housing is provided with a number of electrical outlets and a
main power switch, all of which are disposed on the front of the housing in an accessible
position. A main electrical cord connects the electrical receptacles on the housing to a wall
socket. Accordingly, it is a principal object of the invention to provide a appliance organizer that
combines a plurality of terminal receptacles with a main power switch, a plurality of cylindrical
tubes adapted for receiving a hair dryer and a plurality of curling irons, and a main power cord
(Denny, 1998).
Chapter 3
Methodology
This chapter presents the method on how to conduct the research study to the society. In
this method, the study is to be conducted in La Salle Academy to help to minimize the mess that
can be found in the TVET laboratory for EIM students. As such time, the product is very useful
for the practical work or during actualization in the TVET laboratory. It provides information for
research design, research environment, research instrument, and data analysis procedure.
Furthermore, it been processed on how to have an effective product that is very useful inside the
TVET laboratory. These are the following steps to be discussed:
Research Design
This type of research is a quantitative research. It identifies the level of effectiveness of
the modified systemized cart while conducting a practical work inside the TVET laboratory. As a
quantitative research, this type of quantitative research is an experimental study. It is considered
as a experimental, since, the researchers trying to prove the effectiveness of a product to having
an experiment. In this study, the researchers able to identify on how to make a product more
effective in such a way it is more useful in the daily classes of EIM students.
Research Environment
The setting of this study is located at the La Salle Academy Br. Raymond Jeffrey St.,
Pala-o, Iligan City, Philippines. La Salle Academy was built during 1958, a Christ-centered
school and led by the De La Salle Brothers. The research environment will be conducted inside
the La Salle Academy whereas the participants are the students of La Salle Academy,
specifically, the EIM students. The product will be used and tested inside the TVET laboratory
that the facilitators will facilitates the researchers to know the effectiveness of the product in
having a practical work.
Research Instruments
The research instruments that to be used by the researchers in this experimental study is
through observing them for the session of having a practical work and investigates the EIM
student if is it effective product, durable product, or useful product. Through observation, the
researchers will analyse the data and results that will be discussed and interprets in the results
and discussion.
