2009”

The law which was enacted on July 27, 2009 was primarily conceived as
the country’s response to the worldwide phenomenon on climate change.
Montreal Protocol

an international treaty designed to protect the ozone layer by phasing out the
production of numerous substances that are responsible for ozone depletion.
IPCC
(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)

An intergovernmental body of the United Nations, dedicated to providing


the world with an objective, scientific view of climate change, its natural,
political and economic impacts and risks, and possible response options.
UFCCC
(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate
Change)
An international environmental treaty adopted on 9 May 1992 and opened for
signature at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro from 3 to 14 June 1992. The
UNFCCC objective is to "stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the
atmosphere.
Kyoto Protocol

That commits the state parties to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Kyoto
Protocol implemented the objective of the UNFCCC to reduce the onset of global
warming by reducing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere

Paris Agreement
Under the Paris Agreement, each country must determine, plan, and
regularly report on the contribution that it undertakes to
