TOURIST ATTRACTION
 Is a place of interest where tourist visit, typically for its inherent or an exhibited
natural or cultural value, historical significance, natural or built beauty, offering
leisure and amusement.

IMPORTANCE OF TOURIST ATTRACTION

 They generate local employment, often tourist attractions can offer gainful
employment to people who may be less employable in other industries.
 They generate a sense of local pride in the area around the attraction, this
has a positive social impact and can lead to reduced crime and nuisance
behavior.

IMPORTANT FACTOR OF TOURISM ATTRACTION

The most important factor for a tourist attraction is:
 what tourist wants his desire, satisfaction and unbelievable places or
creativity in the front of tourist.
 New technical creativity, natural beauty, talking with different kinds of people
and know about their culture

PURPOSE OF TRAVEL
The purpose of travel is:
 to connect with building social relationships, opportunities to learn and grow,
and commitment.
 It gives us the chance to be truly engaged in an activity, to develop new skills
and to discover new cultures. It brings us closer to ourselves and others.

TYPES OF TOURIST ATTRACTION

Natural Attraction
 It basically means things to visit that have not been man-made.
 It is been created by nature.

These attractions include:

Caves
Waterfalls
Beaches/seashores

Cultural Attraction/ Heritage Attraction

 Cultural tourism has been defined as 'the movement of persons to cultural
attractions away from their normal place of residence, with the intention to
gather new information and experiences to satisfy their cultural needs.
These attractions include:
Battlefields
Old Houses

Man Made Attraction

 Place which is made by a man for tourist attraction.
 It can be historical building or architectural interest such as Fort Santiago,
Holiday Camps or Theme Parks, such as Disney Land.

Event Attraction
 a visitor attraction an enterprise, a place, or a phenomenon, which
hosts event within its premises, the hosting visitor attraction and shares with
them some of its spatio-temporal features and management aspects.
It includes:
Congress
Exhibition
Festival such as Ati-Atihan festival and
Sports events such as Olympic games
