The objective of his study is to test this assumption about rational emotive education
(REE) and to analyse reduction in anxiety levels. The participants were 10th – 12th grade students
from a high school in Cluj- Napoca. The researchers used a qualitative and quantitative research
method. It indicates that a strong correlation between irrational thinking an anxiety among
teenagers also REE ( Rational Emotive Education) resulted in a significant reduction in anxiety
levels, and a decrease in correlational thinking. It is therefore recommended that this assumption
must be continued but improved to ensure the attainments to its objectives.
