Thor: one of the most important and famous gods in
Norse mythology. He was the son of Odin and Fyorgyn,
the earth goddess. Thor was considered the storm-
weather god of sky and thunder and also a fertility god.
His wife was Sif, a goddess also linked to fertility.
Aphrodite: ancient Greek goddess of sexual love and
beauty. Identified with Venus by the Romans, the Greek
word aphros means “foam,” relating to the origin tale
that Aphrodite was born from the white foam produced
by the sea.
Jesus: Yeshua ben Yosef, also referred to as Jesus of
Nazareth and Jesus Christ, was a first-century Jewish
preacher and religious leader. He is the central figure of
Christianity known through the early leadership of his
followers James the Just and Simon Peter and the
writings of Saul of Tarsus, later known as Paul.
Ganesha: one of the best-known and most worshipped
deities in the Hindu pantheon. His elephant head image
is found throughout India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bali
(Indonesia), Bangladesh and Nepal. Ganesha is widely
revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts
and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As
the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rites
and ceremonies.
Grey Aliens: also referred to as "Alien Greys," "Roswell
Greys" and simply "Greys" or "Grays" in ufological,
paranormal, and New Age communities. Triggered by
the 1947 Roswell Incident, UFO religions believe that
communication between aliens and humans can occur
through physical contact, telepathy, and astral
projection. Typically the groups believe that Earth will
be saved when humans are educated to a better way of
living by extraterrestrial aliens.
L. Ron Hubbard: (March 13, 1911 - January 24, 1986)
American author. After establishing a career as a writer
of science fiction and fantasy stories, in 1950 he
published a "branch of self-help psychology" called
Dianetics. Hubbard subsequently developed his ideas
into a new religious movement that he called
Scientology.
Lao Tzu: or Laozi was a Chinese philosopher and writer
during the sixth century BCE. He is the reputed author
of the Tao Te Ching, the founder of philosophical
Taoism, and a deity in religious Taoism and traditional
Chinese religions.
Moses: born to a Hebrew slave, adopted by an Egyptian
princess, and later in life the leader of the Israelites and
lawgiver, to whom the authorship or acquisition from
Heaven of the Torah is traditionally attributed. He is the
most important prophet in Judaism and also an
important prophet in Christianity, Islam, the Bahá'í
Faith, and a number of other Abrahamic religions.
Buddha: Siddhartha Gautama (563–483 BCE) began life
as the prince of a small kingdom in what is now the
southern part of Nepal. Enlightened at the age of 35, the
Buddha spent the next 45 years of his life traveling in the
northern part of India and teaching how to overcome
suffering. He saw that all living things suffer in being
born, in getting sick, in growing old, and in facing death.
By overcoming suffering, he taught, a person will be
truly happy.
Dionysus: is the god of the grape harvest, winemaking
and wine, of ritual madness, fertility, theatre and
religious ecstasy in ancient Greek religion and myth.
Guanyin or Guan Yin: is an East Asian bodhisattva
associated with compassion and venerated by
Mahayana Buddhists and followers of Chinese folk
religions; also known as the "Goddess of Mercy."
Jedi: the main protagonists in the Star Wars film
franchise created by George Lucas. They are depicted as
an ancient monastic, academic, meritocratic and
paramilitary organization consisting of polymaths:
teachers, philosophers, scientists, engineers, physicians,
diplomats and warriors. The Jedi value knowledge and
wisdom and denounce emotions as the root of mortal
suffering; they believe fear, anger and love cause
sentient beings to lash out in conflict and impede
rational actions. The fictional organization has inspired a
real-world religious movement, Jediism.
Ala: is the highest female Alusi (deity) of the earth,
morality, fertility and creativity in Odinani, the
traditional religious practice and cultural beliefs of the
Igbo people of southern Nigeria. Ala rules over the
underworld and holds the deceased ancestors in her
womb. Her name literally translates to 'Ground' in the
Igbo language, denoting her powers over the earth and
her status as the ground itself. Ala's husband is
Amadioha, the sky deity.
Zeus: the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion, who rules as king of the gods of Mount Olympus. Zeus' symbols
are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak. In most traditions, he is married to Hera but is infamous for his erotic escapades
which resulted in many godly and heroic offspring, including Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Dionysus, Heracles,
Minos, and the Muses.

Amaterasu: known as the sun goddess and seen as the most sacred of all Shinto deities. She is identified as the key
ancestor for all Emperors of Japan. The name Amaterasu is derived from Amateru and means "shining in heaven".
