Course Objectives: The objective of the course is to facilitate professional development and career transition by having related industry experience. The students should take up summer training/ project for a duration of 8 weeks in any of following industry. Integrated Textile industry Weaving or Handloom units Process House with dyeing, printing, finishing facilities. Student Learning Outcomes:

Process flow of textile industry from store department to packaging department with following details for each process: (2 weeks) Objective: Input and output material: No. of Machines: Machine make: Production per shift: Detailed description of design department and follow up any one design from design room to production (1 week) Detailed description of Quality department and product development cell with following details: (1 weeks) Various quality control practices on floor Name and number of apparatus Objective and test procedure Take any project problem and submit weekly report with following details: (4 weeks) Literature review Material method Result and discussion Conclusions
