HELP FILE of Light transitions & burns AE CS4 project

1. This project is made to be imported in your own AE project.

So, first open your Ae project, & then go to menu: File/import/File and select the "LIGHT
TRANSITIONS & BURNS.aep".

Your project panel will look like that:

Now, you have two directories. One has 7 Light transitions compositions, & the other has 11
light burn footages.
2. Select a Light transition composition, and drag & drop it in your composition. Center it
just above the middle point of the cut point of your footages.

Then enable the "collapse transformations" layer switch, to turn it on. (This is important!)
3. You can do the same, using the footages. Select one of them, from the" 11 LIGHT BURNS
(footage)" folder.

Drag & drop it over your cut point, or just over your footage and then select one of these
modes: Add, Lighten, or Screen. (Mostly I prefer lighten.)

You can drag & drop as many of these footages, as you like, & composite them with different
modes. Experiment with the results!

4. This is an HD 1920X1080 project, and so are the footages included. If you need to use
them, in a lower resolution project, after dragging & dropping compositions & footages at
your main composition, select them and resize them. (You can select Layer and hit:
Control+Alt+F, or select layer and go to menu: Layer/Transform/Fit to comp).

Included, is an example project, just to help you understand how it will look, when you
import this project inside yours.
