    Responses must always be your own work in your own words

    1. It’s time to play “find the recording.” On Blackboard you will find a listening excerpt from
    one of the pieces that has been assigned since the beginning of the semester. We may or may not
    have listened to this in class. You must find which recording this is and list it, using the name of
    the composer and the piece.

    Since the excerpt is from the middle of the piece, it will not be easy. Use your knowledge of each
    composer’s characteristics and your memory of having listened to the assigned pieces regularly
    in order to find this.

    Note: while it’s fine to hunt for this with other students in the class, resist the urge simply to tell
    others what it is (or ask others to tell you) because this will not help you come exam time.
