• At the beginning of August of each year Medellin, Colombia, dresses in colors for the Feria de las Flores. This
celebration was born in 1957 and has events such as the Festival of Orchestras. Central part is the parade of
silleteros, in which farmers participate who produce arrangements of flowers and carry them on their backs
in silletas.
