If the rod is not properly assembled, the operator could get a false ORPS (Outrigger Position Sensing) signal and a green light on the Greer display (Fig. 5 & Fig 6). Set the Greer display to full outrigger position. (See Fig. 4) ‘The green indicator light should illuminate at full outrigger extension (item 2) on the Greer display. (See Fig. 5 or Fig. 6 depending on your Greer display installed). Retract the outrigger beam that was disassembled, When the beam starts to move inward, the green light should change to red and the alarm should go off. If you continue to get a green light, the rod is not in the correct position. 6. If more than one beam was disassembled, fully extend the beam you just checked. 7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 until you have checked all disassembled beams. Greer Element VGA Screen You may have two (2) different screen views available depending if you have an early or later version of Greer display. Element VGA Screen Configuration Display (Fig. 4) ‘The CONFIGURATION display represents the current setup of the system with green indicators. Each area contains a group of one or more green indicators and button to change the setup selection. Select item 1 Outrigger button. ‘The Outrigger button contains three green indicators. They indicate full, intermediate, or retracted outriggers. Choose the outrigger selection from the configuration display. ‘The operator will be warned if the selected outrigger posi position from the outrigger position sensors (ORPS).
