1.

Ensure that inlet & outlet connection of the dosing post is completed as per approved
shop drawings.
2. check that the chilled water piping network is complete with proper meter, isolating &
float valves, drains, vents, strainers & instruments in place.
3. ensure that the chilled water network is pressure tested and approved.
4. ensure that chemical tank is fixed & outlet pipe is connected to suction of the chilled
water pum as per approved shop drawings and manufacturer’s instructions.
5. check the conductivity sensor is properly installed in the by pass of the suction and
discharge pipes.
6. check the conductivity sensor is properly installed in the by pass of the suction &
discharge pipes.
7. check the conductivity sensor is properly installed in the bypass of the suction and
discharge pipes.
8. ensure the electrical connection from the conductivity sensor to the control panel is
completed.
9. ensure that the power supply to the control panel is completed.
10. ensure that the field wiring is pretested for continuity and insulation resistance.
11. check for proper installation of the chemical tank, pump & related pipe work
12. installation approved by consultant.
13. check for proper installation of the chemical tank, pump and related pipeworks.
14. check the manual dosing pot installation is complete.
15. check for identification & labelling of system components.
Commissioning checks
16. fill the dosing tank upto 50 litres mark with clean potable water.
17. remove the discharge pipe of the dosing pump.
18. give power to system and prime the pump
19. connect the discharge end and make sure the suction & delivery tubes are kept straight.
20. check the installation of the conductivity controller.
21. check the power supply to the conductivity controller.
22. switch the dosing pump to auto mode
23. induce a low conductivity signal to the control panel and check that the pump starts. the
default set point shall be decided on site by the manufacturer’s representative based on
the conductivity of water and the amount of final chemical added.
24. check the chemical in the tank is injected to the chilled water piping.
25. observe for any leakage from the unit.
26. check pump for overheating
27. check for any vibration/noise
