6.7 Negros- Cebu  108 people were killed (42 people were found dead, and 66 missing). Of these, 94 
(February 6, 2012)  were killed by landslides and rockslides. 7 were killed due to falling walls and 
debris, 3 were killed due to heart attacks, and 4 due to falling fences. The total 
damage has totalled to PhP363.5 million.

reported. Thi was only the second time in recorded history and the first and 
most destructive impact of the tornado was in the southern part of Metro 
Manila. 
 
6.5 Dinagat Island  A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck 10 km SW of Basilisa, Dinagat Islands on 
Earthquake  February 10, 2017, 10:03 pm at a depth of 15 km. Eight people were killed and 202 
(February 10, 2017)  injured.
